In the year of the rat, it was said that the horse will have a bad year. For us, it was not bad but rather good. Hubby and I were able to get new good jobs last year (altho i quit mine after almost 6months). Hubby's job is in Singapore. And Ela and I were able to join him here in SGP in November.

Our health was also ok. Altho I had the flu last year, we were very thankful because our little princess did not have any serious illness last year. Unlike in 2007 when she was admitted in Medical City twice.

I hope this year of the OX will also be good for us.

Kahon-kahong ponkan/mandarin orange

Iba't-ibang klase ng maaasim na prutas

At itong mga maliliit na kalabasa

Ngayon lamang ako nakakita ng ganito kadaming ponkan sa mga grocery. Lahat ng grocery ay may tindang kahon-kahong ponkan. Nakakatakam!! Lalo na sa aking mgahilig sa ponkon. lol.

Sa aking pagsaliksik, ipinamimigay ang ponkan tuwing chinese new year sa mga kamag-anak na dumadalaw. Syempre may kasama itong ampaw (hong bao). Nakaka-engganyong bumili lalo na pag makikita din ang makukulay na palamuti para sa nalalapit na new year.

LP: Pula

Ipagpaumanhin ang aking matagal nang hindi paglahok sa LP. Sadyang toxic lang sa pagiging SAHM sa isang batang nasa terrible-twos stage.


Ito ang pinakapaborito kong larawan na pula. Kuha ito noong Oct 2007 sa Jollibee sa may National Bookstore, Quezon Ave. Itong Jollibee na ito ang pinakamalapit sa aming bahay. Nagkataon na noong pumunta kami ay tapos na ang appearance ni Jollibee sa party sa taas. Nagpaunlak sya ng ilang photo-ops sa mga batang nandoon. Sinamantala ko ang pagkakataon. Iniupo ang aking anak sa counter, tinawag si Jollibee at CLICK!! Isinali ko pa nga ang larawan na ito sa Jollibee Happy Moments na paligsahan ng Jollibee website noon. Sa kabutihang palad ay nanalo ng pangalawang pwesto. =D 1k GC din ang aming nakuha.
